What mileage does your dirtymax get around town and towing? It seems like the duramax owners are claiming 5 mpg more that the fords or dodges.

Looks like I may be buying one shortly.

cummins!!!

dont rule out the cummins just yet, being a mechanic as you are. A I-6 has 40% less parts to break and maintain. Along with being the longest lasting..

My 5.9 HOgot 23mpg hwy unloaded and ave 13mpg towing uphill.

My new 6.7 HO gets 18 hwy unloaded and 11 towing.

back to work, sleddin'

My old 5.9 gets about 10 loaded and mtn drving. Unloaded maybe 16. but it has 230,000 on it. Runs great, but no chip, so a bit sluggish.

Cory, I think that you still have a can of mine, it has a plastic shutoff valve and hose on it. Let me know when that solenoid comes in also, please.

Cory has spent about as much time in my new truck as I have. I don't know what to say, other than it all comes down to the whole package.

My 03 can get 24 cruising at 80mph/2200 rpm. I average 17-18 per tank and towing the Malibu gets about 12-14. Bullydog and piped.

Cory, my Dmax gets around 16-17mpg on the highway. 10-11 towing. Of course 40"s dont help. It is chipped, which helps some. My 2012 Ford SD gets 18-19 highway mpg, 13-14 towing.

They sweetened the pot on the dirty max and gave me 5800 for my hail damaged f250 with a broken tranny...and 221 thousand miles.

Gonna pick it up tomorrow hopefully

ATS diesel tranny is just over 3k with all the bells and comes wit a 500k warranty... Rebuilt motor plus one of their controller kits plus a turbo for all under 10k. Might be worth considering
