2018 Ski-Doo Summit, Freeride Driveline Update

News

Ski-Doo has issued a bulletin regarding 2018 Summit and Freeride driveline updates.

Changes for 2018 include:

  • Finned fixed pDrive sheave
  • Revised CVT Calibration
  • New belt
  • New gearing (Summit and Freeride)
  • Revised PTO and MAG engine mount
  • Better cooling in CVT compartment; new clutch cover and improved flow

These changes result in belt temperatures dropping between 27-72 degrees F.

While the majority of 2017 850 E-Tec owners have had no issues, Ski-Doo always strives for zero issues. So 2018 sleds will have the changes listed above to address concerns.

Stay tuned for more detailed information on these updates in fall issues of SnoWest Magazine.
