Changes for the better -- and for more fun!

Ryan Thompson, Editor of American Snowmobiler
It’s the start of a new season and a time of change for American Snowmobiler magazine, much of it in response to feedback from you, our readers! We are striving to be more relevant, extra entertaining and yet continue to be a trusted source of info for snowmobilers. This sledding crowd is filled with some of the best people in the world and we love that it is our job to serve you.

You will notice as you thumb through the pages of the October 2019 issue that we have kept the best of what we do and added to it: Creating new departments like Close Calls, where we dive into compelling stories of survival; and Trailside Tips, where you’ll find easy step-by-step instructions for tuning your sled, and insight from the top professionals on the best ways to boost your personal riding performance.

We have also taken into consideration the timing of our sled reviews. This month features many of our mountain sleds, as Mother Nature already is starting to produce snow in the hills, and next month will include reviews of trail sleds as the colder weather moves to the flatlands and northern forests. We will continue to bring you reader favorites like the Buyers Guide and Backtracks, and hope to bring you new offerings that will have you anticipating our next issue and tuning in to our popular social media and website.

Our team is working harder than ever to bring you a magazine that can be enjoyed for more than just one reading with stunning imagery and exciting layouts. So, take a few minutes, browse through the articles, and let us know what you think; we are listening.

The AmSnow team aims to deliver content you will be excited to read and eager to share. We view it as our purpose to provide stories that support and serve our fellow sledding enthusiasts.
