shiny side up do something cool

Amsnow
How many snowmobilers east of the Mississippi dreamed of riding sleds in the mountains of Colorado during our youth? How many people dreamed of renting a cabin with just their snowmobile friends all winter? I know I did, and I’m sure many of you did too! I didn’t go do those really cool things until I was lucky enough to have a job here at American Snowmobiler, but I wish I would have! There are so many cool sled activities, now more are happening each year!

There are great new locales to see with new events every month, clinics you can do, and awesome tailored snowmobile adventures to experience nowadays. My advice: Do something cool this winter! Go somewhere new, try a new sled, go off trail more, take a trip with some new friends you don’t know very well, burn some more fuel on a new trail, or just go the farthest away from home that you can.

Just like relationships, you have to keep sports and hobbies new and refreshing. Often, magazine folks and snowmobilers focus too much on new sleds or products to keep our attention, but it’s new adventures and friends that provide much of the fun for snowmobilers. (I finally tried Iceland with some new friends a few months back!) It’s also cool to learn a new skill, like racing, teaching a snowmobile safety class, mountain riding or even snow biking.

Whatever you’ve always wanted to try to do with snowmobiles, do it now, because we should all be taking advantage of our time on the snow!
