How to live like a king at Kodiak Mountain Resort

March 2017 Feature

Ever since our stay at the Kodiak Mountain Resort in Afton, Wyoming, we have been very reluctant to spend the $120-$150 on a Holiday Inn or comparable hotel room.

For a mere $130-$140 ($150 during summer) a night Kodiak Mountain Resort offers a lavish, private, log cabin with nothing but the best technology. The entire resort is situated right at the base of of some of Wyoming’s best riding. For larger groups or families, a $200 cabin is available that can sleep up to 6.

What makes these cabins so unique, is the attention to detail. Each featuring unique truss designs, huge logs, incredible sound systems that blue-tooth to your phone, and a great array of amenities such as dual head showers, comfy beds and pillows, Jacuzzi bath tubs, and much more.

The $200 a night family cabin is a 2 story cabin that has a private balcony on the top floor, with a master bedroom, and private shower. The lower level has a room, kitchen with full size fridge and stove, shower, and futon.

Future plans for Kodiak Mountain Resort include a luxurious lodge that follows the same attention to detail seen throughout the resort, a huge covered pool that will be operating year round and heated to 100 degrees during the winter with underground stoves. RV lots will be coming soon that are over double the size of normal ones to add privacy to RV users and allow them to fully extend their setups with room to spare.
