One is 121 inches and the other is 136? Jim Geeked

90% of all Ford trucks are still on the road today. The other 10% made it home.

That would make for a difference of 15" just in case you and Jim don't have your calculators handy. Glad I could help. I believe if you stick one of those Enzyte tablets in the gas tank once daily, your suspension will get longer. It seemed to work for that Bob guy on the tv commercial, he's always smiling! Good luck!

There are times when that extra 15 inches can make a huge diff. Like when ya just can't quite hit the sweet spot and you pull out the longer suspension. When ya do that you want to get a grip on the ole girl cause your going for a ride. More suspension makes for a better hole shot and remember it is all in the hole shot. Jim

Jamie-

Rails are about 7" longer. Put the new and old side by side for WHERE they lenghtened the rail.  More than likely, they just added to the rail behind the pivot. Check inside your tunnel for a different length hole position.  They minimize how many different parts they have to inventory, so they make the same brackets somewhat universal. At worst, check another 136 to see what the center to center of the mounting holes are.

Careful Mike, someone may actually try that then will be printing this thread out to show their lawyer when they sue you for a new sled.

Doc, thanks, I'll have to do that when I drive my butt all the way out to the Rome area. I can't believe someone would actually live all the way out there.
