Elec face shield

I want to hook up a elec face sield on my 2002 600 Vmax.  Can I just run 12 volt to morterola plug or do I need to use a resister?

Re: Elec face shield

The wires are so small, you don't need to use a resistor.  Eelectric shields don't draw that much energy.  I'd check the wiring diagrams, for any unused electrical connectors.  That way, you don't need to interupt any circuits.  On my '04 Venom, I used the reverse buzzer + wire; because I didn't have reverse.  It was just open.  On my Nytro, I plugged right into the accessory plug connector.  Good luck.

Smile; it makes others wonder what you're up to.

Re: Elec face shield

Thank you very much.  That is what I thought but did not want to ruin my shield.  Again thanks.
