Sled: Ski-Doo

i got a 95 that has no spark i just bought it from a guy and he told me it was a stubborn sled and didnt like cold.  It took him like 5 pulls to get it started but it ran good, got it on the truck and took it home. Now i cant get it running, i pulled the plug and it was drenched with gas, so i left it out (still plugged into the wire) and pulled it and i still got no spark from either cylinder. I see the box that the wires go into. Do i need to replace this whole unit? What is it called? Also i was looking around the engine and there is a harness that runs directly beneith the motor and there is a red wire with a black stripe that has no plug on it that is just sticking up on the exhaust side of the motor. any idea what it is? Thanks for the help

This may sound stupid but is the tether cord plugged in all the way.  This happened to me once. Pulled & pulled till my arm nearly fell off, wouldn't start for nothing. Here is was the tether.

Put a new set of plugs in. It doesn't take much to foul a plug on a 2-stroke.

 I had the same sled a few years back and had the same problem. I found my problem in my kill switch (it was all rusted and bad inside. Hope this helps
