Re: INFO ON HEATING RACE TRAILER
Do you have a generator and fuse panel in the trailer? You can buy the electric wall mounts that put out 15K Btu of heat, have a thermostat, etc. Just wire it to your breaker and fire up your generator. No fumes and lots of heat. You can mount the unit on the wall out of the way. I have that in my 28ft.
In my 24 we dont have a panel or generator so we bought a wall mount propane heater with thermostat and ran lines down the wall through the floor and up to the tongue of the trailer. We have a dual tank tongue mount and mounted 2 20# propane tanks up there.

Re: INFO ON HEATING RACE TRAILER
Northerntool.com. I have an account with them and get stuff a little cheaper than retail. The one that I use for propane is part # 177188-2902. You can also go to Menards or a Farm and Fleet and they will usually have one model in 3 different fuels. Electric, Propane or Natural Gas. I recommend about 15K Btu and dont buy the radiant heat models, just my .02

Re: INFO ON HEATING RACE TRAILER
IMO - RV furnaces work great - small, quiet, use thermostats, have built-in blowers and places to hook up duct work hoses to put it where you want it. You can mount them high on the wall to Keep your floor space or anywhere you have a couple square feet of space(between toolbox and wall, under bench, etc). I ran plastic pipe along my floor with outlets to blow warm air at the suspensions to help defrost them and then the heat rises. Drilled a couple holes in the floor near the tailgate to drain the melted stuff so door wouldn't freeze afterward. Need to install propane tank holders, a battery (can also run your inside lights with it) which can be charged by tow vehicle when traveling and by generator at races powering a battery charger or using an inverter. I've been very pleased with my set-up for many seasons.

Re: INFO ON HEATING RACE TRAILER
Pat ; The RV heater is the way to go, they run on 12 volts & propane. I have a 40,000 btu. rv furnace in my new 40, fifth wheel race trailer and it heat up quick. I don,t know what you have out your way for a supplier, but you can call Tim @ Magnum trailers 1 616 669 3170. p.s. It was good to meet you at the shoot out in Mi. Randy Hazard
