diamond drive secondary clutch.

i have broke off the 9 bolts that hold the helix to the clutch on my f1000 2 times, any one have a fix for this, im running a stock moter other than the y pipe and clutch kit and studded, can i get hardened bolts? i have tryed but they say i cant get them that small, am i putting it back together wrong?? it just seems to be a poor design to me, i have a turbo on the way how long is that gonna hold up with more power, thanks for any help, ben.

Most of the diamond drives are like yours ,i dont think it is a horsepower issue with the bolts i think they gald up in the housing and then are hard to get out,we replace them with hardend button head bolts and a lock washer and apply anti seize to the threads.check them frequently after the fix is done ,if needed use a small amount of heat to loosen them up.

mine had lock tight on them and also broke mine off.Luckily they all broke off and there was enough sticking out to get a pair of plyers on them.a little heat from a torch and they came right out.Wish i would have known that first

button heads are very similar to what was in it already just hex wrench not torx, the oem style is good to use also you can get them from your local dealer
