Crankshop 600 triple improver pipes on a 700 triple ?

Could I use Crankshop 600 triple improver pipes from a 1996 F111 improver on my F-chassis 700 Mach 1 improver with only a bigger tailpipe ? I can get these pipes for cheap at my local dealer and I'm hoping to just have to open tailpipe 1-2mm. The sled will be used for 660' snow drags. Also, if these would work, what size tailpipe should the 600 have and what size should the 700 run and at what RPM ?

Any info. appreciated !

The Crankshop 600 flanges are longer and have a smaller ID than the 700 pipes. They probably will work since both motors are the same with the exception of the bore, the question is how well will they work. As for the stinger diameter I usually run 700's between .950" to 1 inch. A definate answer would require dyno and field testing. Match the flange to your port diameter and check the stinger diameter, you should be OK for a "low budget" fix.

I would say if your only running 660 ft. there would be no problem but to be sure call the crank shop for the answer, better safe than sorry!
