Western U.P. Snowmobile Report
April 3, 2008 LATEST SNOW and GENERAL WEATHER:
LAST CHANCE TO RIDE! Forecast calling for almost 50 today, but 40-ish for the weekend. TRAILS and CONDITIONS:
Depite the warm temps, the bases on most of the major trails are holding up and am confident they will through the weekend.
What we do recommend is to talk to the folks where you plan to stay to see which of the close-by trails are in the best shape. Roads, parking lots, etc. are bare...and be aware you may into some icy areas and you'll likely run into a some wet places-ride accordingly...and as always slow down on corners. If you do want that ONE MORE TIME...it's now.
STAY OFF ANY LAKES... Just too iffy at this time of year...besides we have miles of trails in great shape. So don't miss this last chance to ride. Season officially ends April 6th. SPECIAL EVENTS:
