Ask the Engineers :2008

Ask The Engineers is back again!  This is the time when forum members have the opportunity to pick the engineering brains at each of the Big 4 manufacturers about their new 2008 iron.

Simply send your questions to amsnow@amsnow.com and we'll serve as the go-between with the engineers.  If you would like to add your name and hometown too, feel free.

We will publish the best questions and answers in upcoming issues of the magazine.

Please read the guidelines below carefully.

1.) No question will be answered that includes foul language, manufacturer bashing, or other material not tolerated on the forum in general.

2.) Questions about future models will not be answered.

3.) Please categorize your questions into one of the following categories: Engine, Chassis, Front Suspension, Rear Suspension, Ergonomics, Miscellaneous.

4.) Due to limited space and time - not every question will be answered in the magazine.

5.) AmSnow reserves the right to edit questions.

Thanks for all your support and let's see if you can stump those engineers!

Re: Ask the Engineers :2008

John, your machine may have more than 1 problem.  Sounds as though there may be a fuel delivery problem, or ignition timing causing your troubles.  The 1st step would be to check the pulse pump and ignition time the engine.  Between the two of these you should be able to diagnose your issues.

Straightline Performance
