firebreather-worth it for grass?

Is it worth spending the money on the firebreather or just the same to go to 2 individual filters for running grass with a firecat? Where is the best deal on a firebreather or is that exclusive to d+d aka their invention. Thanks

I know it was worth the $ for my asphalt sled I would not think it would be any different for the grass.  And just call dnd it is the real deal not a cheap knock off.

You don't need to spend all that money on a fire breather. Just use a match and some gas. That's the best upgrade you can do to your sled. Hope this helps.

I see Jeff is back. With a mullet like that, you should think about taking up hockey. Stick out tongue [:P]

Re: firebreather-worth it for grass?

I really enjoyed my time on yammies, owned over 20 and raced a few too, tried a 4 stroker, wasnt for me and bought a cat, love it. Great chassis and they make it alot easier to unlock the potential in them than they do on a yammie. Now I have never had a newer generation polaris, only ever a piped tx440 that hauled btw, I do love the IQ chassis but this talk about xc800's has really got me thinking...

Filters dont make it stock???? That 900 mill was too much for me, I got tired of guys like you whining all the time when I was spanking them across the lake.... I know they said the whine was from a turbo but I'm pretty sure it was from in the helmet......DennistheMenace call me sometime when you are running I want to see what it is all about, I'm thinking again........

Re: firebreather-worth it for grass?

I would agree the firebreather setup was worth every penny from D+D.  Not only did it keep the dirt out but it also made cleaning filter much easier than the 2 individual filters.   Just a better package.
