REVIEW: 2020 Ski-Doo MXZ TNT

Responsive and comfortable, allowing riders to choose how they ride
2020 Ski-Doo MXZ TNT
The Ski-Doo MXZ TNT 850 takes on any trail, corner, or bump and is specifically designed to allow the rider to choose how they want to take it on. Standing, sitting, aggressive riding or just cruising, the TNT has options to make it comfortable and responsive for any ability or type of rider. With this ride, it’s all about choice. You can choose how you want to ride, as this machine is set up with many different options.

Starting with the Ergo-Step side panels that allow the rider three stances for cornering. This lets individuals decide how they want to attack the corners. Additionally, there are open toe holds that give the freedom of movement to turn out a foot allowing for more leverage when taking on turns. Even the 4.5 digital display has been adjusted with a flatter viewing angle letting the rider see the screen whether they are standing or sitting.

The Gen4 REV platform is lighter and more responsive than ever. Its design has been made more comfortable and extra responsive to rider input. Incased in this design, and at the heart of the machine is the Rotax 850 E-TEC Engine. With the new pDrive primary clutch this machine does exactly what you expect it to do. With no lag, and immediate response the rider has ultimate control. This makes the machine predictable, and boosts rider confidence. The 850 also has more horsepower than its predecessor and can take you down the trail faster than most will want to travel. The MZX TNT is also available with the Rotax 600R E-TEC Engine, which has improved throttle response and 125 horsepower.

With the 2020, additional improvements have been made on the suspension. The RAS 3 Front Suspension is lighter than the RAS 2, and the rMotion rear suspension has separate spring and shock settings that allow the MXZ to eat up the small bumps and take on the big ones too. The MXZ TNT has easy adjustments for shocks, springs and coupling block allowing for ride customization for rider preference and trail type.
