It’s bikini time! That’s right it is time for the fifth annual Genesee Sno Packers Bikini Rally. This year the Sno Packers teamed up with Northeast Snowmobile Racing Inc. and the venue was changed to Brantling Ski and Snowboard Center.

This year the event was again headed up by Jane Chaddock and Dawn Clark of the Genesee Sno Packers, and all funds were donated to the Pink Fund, which if you don’t know, provides 90 days of financial assistance for non-medical expenses to families going through treatment. The participants also worked very hard on their second Bikini Rally Calendar, which were sold at different venues to help promote the event. Some of the proceeds from the calendars goes to the Pink Fund as well.

Eighteen riders participated in the rally this year. They set a goal of $15,000 and with all the strong efforts from the riders, they succeeded in reaching that. There were some standout riders raising a good chunk of the money. This year it was Vanessa Staples leading the way with a total of $4,984 raised, with Kylie Melay coming in second at $4,928 and rounding out the top three was Jennifer Harrington with $3,600. All of these girls hold this very close to their hearts and love raising money for a great cause. But in the end, it is not who raised the most money, it is how much was raised to help families through the Pink Fund. The grand total for this year’s event was $23,583 which brings the five-year total to over $60,000 raised to help families fight breast cancer.
