Pink Ribbon Riders Charity Ride

Jody McKay (left) and Lori Wagner, a PRR volunteer from Pennsylvania, had a blast at the Togwotee fund-raising ride. The event, and many others nationwide, help raise funds to fight breast cancer.
OUR TRIP TO Togwotee coincided with the Pink Ribbon Riders breast cancer charity ride, Jody McKay and her staff hosting the event. PRR put on a range of activities and guided rides. The first night started with an introduction party with Jody introducing the attendants to the charity and the following days activities. The next day there were guided rides planned with Togwotee guides taking different groups around nearby riding areas and everyone met up at the Cowboy Village for lunch. That evening PRR had a huge buffet style dinner with a load of delicious food. After dinner, prizes were given out for numerous contests and several breast cancer sufferers received checks and talked about their experiences.

In addition, there were a few snowmobile celebs there, or at least guys that are a pretty big deal in the industry like; Kirk Zach from HMK, freestyle snowmobile video star Dan Adams, John Summers from Klim and Arctic Cat's Brett Rasmussen. The whole event went off without a hitch and with a relaxed feel to it. There were a lot of laughs and it was for a great cause. We were happy to be there for the Pink Ribbon Riders and support all that PRR does for breast cancer charities and snowmobiling.

PRR hosts rides in Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Wisconsin and Wyoming each year. These Snow Runs raise money through riders raising pledges and then participating in the rides. PRR also raises money with its line of clothing and accessoriesl. The charity works closely with sponsors like Arctic Cat, HMK and Triton Trailers to offer other fun ways to raise money and awareness for the breast cancer charities each season.
