I have psi pipes and silencers for the 1080 (no flanges) also have carb mounts for the big air carbs.

Re: w.t.b. psi 1080

Chris, you will be dissapointed to say the least !!

that engine will make 180-184 w/ all the pomp and pagentry that BSI has for it, right down to his reeds and his big farce carbs.. Thats also with the compression on kill.

I found them (3) to be at best 172-175 with pump compression , Realize bruces excuse is timing, ??

I've turned them up to the 16-17 degrees he wants and the power is still not there, plus the deto themselves to bits as timing in the midrange is 40 + advanced !!!!!!Surprise [:O]

stick with the companies who do NOT have glossy print catalogs,, learned that toomany years ago.

Re: w.t.b. psi 1080

Thats the reason I stopped helping people on this forum !
all the *, the cranks are junk the mouting makes them fall apart, YOU WILL RUIN THE STRAIN GAUGE ON THE ARM IN 5-8 TEST RUNS DUE TO EXCESSIVE HIGH FREQUENCY VIBRATION.
If you must dyno these pork chop cut cranks,,,,, secure the arm to the jackshaft with zip ties , this will keep it from wiggling. if the crank has .002 or more runout ,, DO NOT TEST IT << FIX IT . you will ruin your dyno instantly...
Had this happen on Grumpy's 990 , wrecked the strain and the in brake rpm pick up in one run !
NOW WHO PAYS !! ME OF COURSE.
stock 900's arre in the low 150's at 6900-7100
fwiw/ work with the people who can tune there own sleds very well,  the 800-900 based twin cats are dyno killers!
triples will never hurt it period.
call if you have any questions Chris,
Gus
