Can anyone help with top speed of an SXViper?.  I've got my speedo up to 117-122 but i dont know how fast they are stock and with a radar gun.

had a 2000 sxr  t 103 on the gun one day which I thought was pretty good. But the Vipers are faster so you should be faster then that.  Had an 03 RX-1 and saw 117 mph on the speedo but only 97.7 on the GPS. hope this helps..  Any onbe have the apexs's on the dream meter yet???

No I dont know what the Apex tops out at but I talk to a salesman at our local yammy dealership and he rode the 06' sleds about 10 months ago at a dealership ride and he had er goin 129 on speedometer but theyre usually off like u said with ur SRX and RX-1 but all he had to say was "wow, thats one heck of a fast sled," He went away to serve in Iraq for a while so he said hes gonna miss the 05-06 snowmobile season but onother salesman a couple weeks ago went to test ride the new 07' sleds and i cant wait to see what he says about them.  I'll keep ya posted on what the new 2007's are like according to him.

To be honest my seedo said 114 on the gun 102 and it hit 105  one time thats real speed.And this sled runs very well.

Yea alot of stock snowmobiles dont get past 110...like the mazh Z only was clocked doin 109.57 mph top speed but the speedo prolly said about 120

There was one running 117mph on radar at otis reservoir,but it was far from stock.

thats sweet....i want to put triple pipes from most likely SLP or Bender on my Viper but I'll jeopardize the clutch performance so I'd have to modify my clutch and get an extra rear heat exchanger so its alot of money right there!>..but thanks for the replies

That same viper went 119 last week,  he writes in here his name is srx magic. He could help you get your machine to fly.
