THE COMET 102 c SPRINGS I THINK WILL WORK IN THE ORIGINAL YAMAHA CLUTCH. ALSO I REMEMBER THE SRX (79,80 ) SPRING WOULD WORK AND RAISE ENGAGEMENT. YOU WILL THAN HAVE TO INCRESE SECONDARY TWIST. 3:16 (yammie '' big '' tony)

Re: yamaha exciter clutching tips

Ok well i found a website that sells springs do u think if i got one to make my sled take off at like 4500rpms that id have to change the cam arms or secondary spring? As long as i keep the stock spring size. o and my uncle gave me a spring off his arctic cat zr700 1994 it is the same diameter but a lil shorter will that work u think?

 Thanks, Derek
