My friend has one and the ride comfort is nice, and the performance is good. The gas mileage is around 14 to 17 mpg and seems to get better as it gets broken in. Personally I think the classic pushes in the corners, unlike the non M-10's. Nothing seemed to help it either. But for riding, he is 260 pounds and he loves the comfort! Nothing better!

From what I learned about the 06 FST throughout my travels it was a real problem child early on. Hopefully this one has all the updates. My buddy bought an 08 FST Dragon, which we all got the opportunity to ride it. This is a very good sled, handles well, very quiet, rides nice and has about the same power as an Apex. He claims its a night and day better sled than the 06 FST.

I have an 06 FST Classic that's been a great sled for me. I had some of the first year problems early on but they were all recall issues that didn't keep me from riding or reallly affect me much on the trail. I ordered an 09 Turbo Switch and i'm keeping the 06 for my wife. It does push in the corners and you need to make some adjustments to get rid of it. The M-10 is not a simple beast but once it's setup for your weight you should be very happy. My last ride of the season we did 900 miles in 3 days and i didn't even think about it. Rode with an Apex and we pretty much drank fuel at the same rate.

We have 1 in our group as all M10s get it set up ( we are going to put the large preload spacer in this year to help with M10 being to picky) good power and he put studboy duce bars in, and suck up the front limit strap to NO3 spot if you do over 45 MPH trial rides most of the time. That will get rid of 85% of the push in the turns. all in all  not a bad sled Like all four strokes it gets a bit more feed back in the bumps your arms will feel it if the trails are bumped up

While never riding an 06 FST, never been a fan of M-10 skids either, I really enjoyed the 08 FST dragon a buddy of ours let us try, it didn't give me any negative feedback, plus the ride quality was a little nicer than an Apex or Nytro, so was handling. Yeah, you do notice the extra weight, but its only in the nastiest of trail conditions. It took Polaris a couple years to make this sled one nice cruiser.

Funny thing about the M10 Is there are alot of cheap tricks you can do to make it RIGHT for you

as I said about the bigger preload spacer or as in the case with the 06-07  128" units the couplerblocks are quit large and couple very quick call Fast get the smaller blocks then you can crank up on FRA a bit more to stop the big bump problem and still have a GREAT ride Or as I did Go for broke and get the Air Wave. This thing is Unreal, you do leave everyone in the dust if you want, esp over trail junk and 1 foot stutters ( I sound like an add) but it is the best in ALL conditions because you can adjust the pressure at a press of a button!!
