will a arctic cat 440cc engine fit in a 1979 yamaha exciter
I was wondering if a arctic cat 440cc engine will fit in a 1979 440cc exciter I think the guy who i got the engine from said the engine was from like 1979 or 1982 sled. I was going to try and put one of the piston form the other engine in the yamaha because all that's wrong with the yamaha is the is one bad piston

Be a lot cheaper and easier to buy one Wiseco piston and a few gaskets than go through the install with that Cat engine. Of course, the Cat engine will make the sled a lot faster...

The pistons WILL NOT interchange.
