UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT AT VINTAGE SHOW. 3:16

TODAY AT THE AWSOME ALEXANDER VINTAGE SHOW THERE WAS A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT, BUT THANK GOD NOBODY GOT HURT. THE ALEXANDER FIRE DEPT WAS RAFFLEING OFF A 1957 FORD T-BIRD. CAR OF CORSE WAS A AWSOME SHOW PIECE. ANYWAYS THIS CAR WAS IN HAULER WHEN SOMEHOW BECAME UNLATCHED FROM TOW VECHILE. CAR ROLLED OUT OF TRAILOR DOWN SLIGHT HILL AND SMASH RIGHT INTO A POLARIS TX VINTAGE SNOWMOBILE. POLARIS WAS PRETTY SMASHED UP. CAR WAS OK, BUT EVERYBODY SCRAMBLED AND SCREAMED AS THIS CAR FREE ROLLED RIGHT INTO THIS SLED. THANK GOD NOBODY WAS HURT. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Here is a pic of the sled that got hit: [click to view image] I felt sorry for the guy that owned the sled - he told me he had just gotten the sled done and the original hood took a ton of fiberglass work to get it right. Whammo, a Tbird comes crashing into it, pushed it back into the trailer behind it - front and rear damage. There was a guy on a wheelchair right next to the sled when it happened, just missed him. WOW WIG YOU WERE AT THAT SHOW AND YOU DID NOT COME OVER AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF. WE WERE VERY CLOSE TO WHERE THAT HAPPENED. MATTER OF FACT I SCREAMED '' LOOK OUT '' WHEN I SAW T BIRD '' ROLL OUT OF THAT TRAILOR. GUY IN THAT CHAIR WAS EVERETT REGAL FROM WIDOW MAKER RACEING FAME. HeyTony: Wow - I didn't know you were there! My buddy and I were looking at your Vmax, I was telling him I always wanted one of those - I loved those 540 liquids. I have pictures of every sled there, yours included. Next time put "yammigod" on the tag on the sled!!! Your sleds were great!! Wig

Tony: I'll be there - planning on bringing my '77 Nitro 440, freshly restored, and my '95 Vmax 600LE, all original and flawless, I bought it brand new. Boonville is a lot closer for me, about 2 hours, I am in Albany. I will make sure to stop and see you. Look forward to meeting you!! Wig
