aluminum gears
i have a few questions on aluminum gears. i want to use them for grass drags. how long do they last? how strong are they? will teeth tare?

we have run them on imp 800 and smaller hp sleds one season was all you could get out of them,they do take special care to keep them in good shape.

I have run the Wahl aluminum gears for the last couple of years and was surprised how well they hold up.  I am only running a little over 200 hp through them.  Any more then that may cause a problem.

I have some wahl gears from an 2001 srx, anyone know if they can be used on a firecat? I know the srx is a hyvo chain, not sure of the F7. Thanks

JOSH, GOT YOUR MESSAGE. LOOKING FORWARD TO TALKING TO YA. NOW YOUR QUESTION. I KNOW THE 2000 AND UP SRX HYVO GEARS WILL INTERCHANGE WITH 2000 AND UP POLARIS. XCR 800 AS A EXAMPLE. I DON,T KNOW ABOUT A FIRECAT. 3:16 (yammie tony)
