F7 RPM issue
Have an '05 F7 and only turning 7400 RPMs under hard acceleration, 7200 and 85 mph on top end. I can't find the problem. Belt deflection is good, APV's are clean and the cables are the right length, No issues with the rear suspension and track tension. My buddy has the same sled and he flies. Any suggestions?

Re: F7 RPM issue
I had a problem with a bad secondary spring from D&D....They sent me a new one and it worked just like they said it would.....Could be a quick and easy fix....  Good luck.

I have the same sled and sometimes the tension on the rear spring will back off and drop on rpms check and see where your adjuster is. Its a simple adjustment try turning it in to about a half inch in and then trying it out this should take care of it

Make sure the servo motor is operating. My riding partner had the same issue and he ended up

replaced the ecu module.

Make sure the power valves are moving and make sure you don't have them in upside down. The beveled edge goes down.

Re: F7 RPM issue
While under warrantee, did you ever take it to the dealer to resolve the issue?  They should have corrected it for you.  You should be running @ appprox. 7,900 - 8,100 RPM @ WOT.  In addition to the ECU being mapped incorrectly or a problem w/ the APV's, or bad secondardy spring, how do your plugs look?  Belt height shimed correctly in the secondary?  Your sled should easily hit over 100mph.

Re: F7 RPM issue
check for a possible bent crank. if you have ever blown a belt at a good speed this can happen and have seen it happen. But i would have the crank checked just as a precaution.
