I sold quite a bit Friday at 11:30 ($14.00) Basically, the stuff that I bought Tuesday at $8.91/share.  Still have quite a bit of GM. Bought another 200 shares of Ford Friday afternoon.    

HEY!!!! We're driving up the cost of GM & Ford being speculators!  Think people will be mad ?  ROFLMAO!

If you can hold that GM stock till 2010 I think you will see huge gains . It's gonna take time to sort things out but they will rebound . They WILL not go under , and if by chance they get close they will be bought out and revamped but I don't see it happening . I get messages daily from GM headquarters as to what the plans are . If I had extra cash laying around I'd be putting it all in GM .  They HAVE to close the plants that are making vehicles that aren't selling . We have roughly 100 new trucks and SUV's on the lot and MAYBE 10 new cars . Cars are scarce and as soon as they come in they are gone . JMO

LOL . It takes time to revamp whole factories . How can they keep a truck factory open when they are not selling trucks . Kinda why you see salesman standing around smoking .The vehicles aren't selling . I understand it ruins whole communities when a factory closes , but if GM were to go under by keeping these factories open ,it would ruin alot more communities . Yes , I work at a dealership , and dealerships are closing . It won't be long until GM catches up to Ford and starts buying back dealerships and closing them . Why should they have to compete with each other in  20 mile radius . Ford caught on .

How long can GM keep a plant that is loosing money open ? I am hoping that GM does close some dealerships . If they close mine (probably would be the last one on the list to close) I am not worried about finding work .

The effect fuel had on truck and suv sales took hold alot sooner than expected and they have react quickly and cut overhead . Thier cash flow is nill at the moment . Ford is sitting pretty good as far as thier cash flow goes and they already made the cuts . Chrysler is the one that will be on the chopping block .

WELL IT USE TO TAKE THE GM PLANTS WE SUPPLIED TWO WEEKS TO RETOOL. THIS WOULD BE FOR NEW MODELS, NEW PRODUCT etc. IT WOULD USUALLY BE AROUND THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. It IS the Unions fault Tony. They got too greedy.  They felt that they knew how to run business better than the people who's job it is, and TRAINED to do so.

I have a newsflash for them.  China doesnt have a Union. Mexico doest have a Union. Indonesia

doesnt have a Union.  The Unions forget that their cost of labor for a WEEK is less than ONE HOUR in the UAW.  The Companies CAN DEAL with those costs.  Its when the dipwads go on strike, and cut production to try to muscle the company to give them MORE MORE MORE. The interuption of parts is the deathknell of the company. Some can survive it, some can't. Some make cuts to offset the losses. Guess what. They cut the American Jobs, as they caused the losses.

Tell ya what. We'll see if you are a hypocrite or not.  What would you do if the kid who cuts your grass,  decided to let your lawn grow for 4 weeks, because he wants 15% more. And you pay him the biggest money out there already for cutting grass! You let him use your pool, your motorcycle, your sled, etc.  Would you tell him to pack it, or would you pay him?

 The Union  has the membership brainwashed.  The Bus. Agents dont care what happens to YOU. Its a raise to themselves.  They increase dues, and live fat WHETHER YOU WORK OR NOT. Saw it here at Fisher Guide. And Carrier. And Crouse Hinds. And Cooper Industries. And Armand Hammer. And Lipe Rollway. And Crucible. And Syracuse China. And the list keeps going.   The BA's dont have ANY membership, yet they are still collecting a check.
