KLIM is releasing their fully redesigned mountain shells for the 2020-2021 season, the Valdez Jacket and Togwotee Bib, the Tomahawk Jacket and Bib, and the Alpine Jacket and Bib. This snowmobile gear is designed for mountain riders, boasting improvements in mobility, weight, durability and more – all to keep you comfortable and focused when you ride.
The Valdez and Togwotee shells have long been the standards by which all other mountain jackets and bibs are measured. Historically, they’ve been the most durable snowmobile jackets and bibs in KLIMs entire product line. For this season, the Valdez and Togwotee received major upgrades to key fabrics with a 400D material that is lighter and more durable than the previous 600D material. The 3-layer GORE-TEX construction combines with these new ultra durable wear areas to improve mobility and durability while simultaneously reducing bulk and weight.
The 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro Shell is the most breathable and durably waterproof shell system available, supplemented by excellent ventilation throughout both garments. Simply put, the Valdez and Towgotee are the most durable and ventilated shells available, offering you the most confidence through trees and most thorough climate control options. Further improving bulk and comfort, KLIM redesigned the pocket layout in the jacket.
The redesigned Tomahawk Jacket and Bib can be considered the younger siblings to the chart-topping Valdez and Togwotee. Using lighter body fabrics for low bulk and weight, the Tomahawk gear excels in situations requiring both ventilation and excellent range of motion. This gear offers the best combination of ventilation and mobility, perfect for aggressive riders.
The redesigned women’s Alpine Jacket and Bib are KLIM’s high performance mountain shells for female riders, featuring feedback-driven improvements and refinements for this winter. A removable hood, improved jacket range of motion, improved bib drop seat and more durable lower leg materials all combine to make the Alpine perfect for backcountry riders.
New KLIM mountain gear will be available starting August 2020.
